Our ministry is dedicated to helping people get closer to God through the teachings of Christ. Our mission is to spread the word of God and encourage individuals to develop a deeper relationship with Him.
Our Leadership
As Senior Pastor of ODM Alex has both served and study the Word of God vigorously throughout the last several decades of his life. Even now he is still willing to learn and grow more and more in his relationship with Christ through his pastoral ministry. Along with his wife Carla Carter he continues to faithfully teach and make disciples through God's Word. Alex has both attended and graduated from Luther Rice Seminary with a certificate in Apologetic s and Undergraduate in Biblical Studies. As a servant of Christ Alex continues to serve both in the Church and in the community in sharing the good news.
Here at Our Deliverance Ministries Malique has faithfully served in the body of Christ. As Deacon of Our Dileverance Ministries he continues to serve and assist the local body church. He has both attended and graduated from Luther Rice Seminary with certificates in both Apologetic s & Biblical Studies and, is continuing to pursue other ministerial studies to help build the community of God through his Word.
Leshawn is a joyful contributor and steadfast pilar of Our Deliverance Ministries. As Elder of the ministry, his focus is to help guide and develop the congregation in understanding our Father's Word. LeShawn has been a dedicated student of GOD'S WORD for 25 years. He looks forward to the continued growth, and imparting of wisdom and knowledge that the Lord has granted him to all those eyes to see and ears to hear.
Leaders of the Women's Ministry
Here at Our Deliverance Ministries Briana has been a great servant to the mission of Christ along with assisting Sister Carla in the Women’s Ministry. She has even taken the extra step in faith to further her education in Biblical Studies at Luther Rice Seminary so that she can be even more of a benefit to the Body of Christ.
Lady Carla Carter is committed to the work of the LORD through ODM. She has humbly served her family, ministry and others around her through the strength of our LORD Jesus Christ. Following the vision that God has given to her husband Alexander Carter, furthermore supporting by his side. Carla, in addition, is leading the Women's Ministry where she is supported by her fellow sister in Christ Briana Mack.
Our Belief
Here at ODM we believe in the one Triune God, who eternally exists in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the diety of Jesus Christ in that he is God. We believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross, he died and after 3 days rose from the dead. We believe that the Bible is infallible, inerrant, and the only inspired Word of God.
We offer Bible studies every Tuesday and Thursday, which are presented by Alexander Carter and Leshawn Williams. These studies provide an opportunity to delve into the Word of God and gain a deeper understanding of His teachings. Our speakers come from different backgrounds and experiences, offering a diverse range of perspectives and insights.
In addition to our regular Bible studies, we also host a monthly study called Mars Hill, presented by Malique Modeste. This study is focused on using the word of Christ to help strengthen us in our daily lives.
